Zip Line Terms and Conditions

TERMS & CONDITIONS

On the day of your booked tour you will be asked to sign a declaration and waiver and you will need to satisfy our terms of trade. It is important for you to consider any health or medical matters that may impact your ability to participate in the tour. Participants who are under the influence of alcohol or illegal drugs will not be permitted to participate in the tour.

YOU MUST ARRIVE 15-20 MINS BEFORE YOUR TOUR IS SCHEDULED TO LEAVE. If you arrive late you are NOT entitled to a refund. Depending on availability you MAY be re-booked on a later tour that day. If you are on a tour that starts AFTER 1.30pm you MUST arive 1.5 hours before hand to check in and complete the Treetop walk as you will NOT have time to compete it after your tour.

Weather:

Otway Fly Zip Line Tour operates in all weather conditions. Tours operations will only be cancelled in extreme weather conditions such as lightning storms, government declared Code Red bushfire weather warning days and high winds.

Tours will be postponed at our discretion. We will offer an alternative departure date and time in consultation and agreement with you.

What to wear:

You are required to wear fully enclosed and comfortable sporting or hiking shoes.
During wet weather you must wear warm clothing and wet weather protective outer wear.

Loose objects, jewellery, wrist watches, hats etc cannot be worn or taken on the tour. This includes: Cameras, bags, video recorders, mobile phones or iPods. Bear in mind that even over the summer months it may be cool up in the tree canopy. Make sure that you are prepared for the weather.

Tour Duration:

The duration of the tour is approximately 3.5 hours and you must check in 15-20 minutes before your confirmed time. We cannot accommodate late arrivals.

Refunds and Transfers:

Your booking is non-refundable and non-transferable. Your purchase is for a specific time and date. Changes to the date and/or time of your reservation will only be considered if received seven days before the confirmed tour date. Changes of date or time of your booked tour will only be made if there is availability of that time or date.

Age Restriction:

Minimum age is 4 years old and children must be a minimum height of 105cm. Children must be toilet trained. Proof of age, such as a passport or birth certificate, may be requested for all children when checking in for the tour. There must be one parent, or adult guardian, accompanying children under 13 years old, for at least the safety briefing and harness fitting session prior to tour. Any child under 115cm will require a tandem tour with a parent. If you require clarification, please call us prior to making a booking.

Weight Restrictions:

Maximum weight is 120kgs (this applies to individual’s weight as well as for combined tandem weight).

Safety requirements:

Zip Line Tour participants agree to comply with all requirements of signage, safety requirements specifically for the Zip Line activity and other directions as designated by the supplier. Any non-compliance of such directions, safety requirements and signage requirements or reckless or careless conduct by Zip Line Tour participants may lead to cancellation of participant’s inclusion in the Zip Line activity.
