The Otway Fly is an enriching environmental experience. The visitor centre subtly introduces you to this amazing rainforest, whilst providing gourmet food, beverages, wine and the opportunity to relax and gently absorb the rich beauty that surrounds you.

Located in temperate rainforest 500 metres above sea level the Fly provides you with an all year round experience. In summer you can escape the heat of the coast. In winter you can experience the enigmatic mists enhancing the beauty of the forest.

The Otway Fly Tree Top Walk

The Otway Fly Tree Top Walk & Cafe is a private development set on 85 hectares of land deep in the heart of the Otways old growth forest, bordering the Great Otway National Park.

Some facts about the Otway fly treetop walk & cafe:

  • The Tree Top Walk was opened in September 2003 by Elaine Carbines, Member of the Legislative Council.
  • The Tree Top Walk is the world's longest and highest. It is 600 metres long and 47 breathtaking metres high.
  • The development cost $6.5 million and received funding from the Federal Government under the DOTARS Regional Assistance Program.
